Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Pricing Director with all pricing and revenue forecasting and budgeting
  • Partner with Director to establish pricing and revenue analytics and develop new tools and capabilities
  • Support cross functional projects and initiatives with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations teams
  • Manage Pricing Analyst team; coordinate day-to-day yield management actions and market level research
  • Provide recommendations and presentations to Pricing Director and Senior Management
  • Apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities
  • Develop team talent and facilitate professional growth of direct reports
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in pricing/revenue management processes
  • Achieve specific economic performance objectives
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Job is directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management). Job title example(s) of employees directly supervised: Pricing Analyst, Pricing Manager

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, operations research or supply chain management
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in pricing, finance, marketing analytics or similar equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of basic statistics, economics, marketing
  • Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Lean Certification a plus
  • Excel, Tableau, Visual Basic, Access or other programming/reporting skills very desirable
  • Familiarity with using logistics technology (such as routing / scheduling optimization tools)
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
