Job Description


Manage the evolution of the PODS brand for all creative across message, visual identity and tone. Lead key integrated Go-To-Market campaigns for various products and services. Lead big idea campaign work with agencies, managing the budget to drive brand awareness and affinity that delivers prospects and return customers to choose PODS. Lead and manage all creative concept/content work. Report to all stakeholders on activities and ROI. Own the brand visual identity and ensure all internal and external communications are adhering to brand standards. Manage creative agency relations. Design and deliver integrated marketing calendar for PODS marketing activities across the organization. Collaborate with advertising team on media mix and analytics team to monitor the success (e.g., overall revenue/order growth and marketing metrics like brand awareness, site visits, etc.) 


  • Lead the development of all creative and content working with agencies, creative staff and other internal stakeholders to ensure the all internal and external communications are in the PODS brand voice, tone, look and feel.
  • Leads integrated content strategy across channels/platforms
  • Works with advertising manager and field marketing team on the development of national and local media plans.
  • Utilize research to inform strategic and tactical marketing decisions
  • Strong analytical background will allow them to lead the proper mix of media tactics and to develop ROI metrics and reports for all marketing tactics
  • Ensuring all assets are delivered to the channel owners in the right format and timeframe.
  • Work with agencies to effectively and efficiently drive awareness and usage of the company brand
  • Actively uphold the company brand standards and assist the rest of the company with those efforts
  • Manage, support and/or direct appropriate communications throughout the customer experience
  • Develop, manage, and track budgets
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preference for degree in Marketing or Communications
  • MBA or related graduate degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior marketing experience required
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working at or directing advertising agency required
  • Business planning skills including demand modeling, unit and fixed revenue and cost estimating, and price sensitivity analysis
  • Ability to interpret and contribute to financial document development and management including income statements and capital planning
  • Advanced math skills and use of statistical tools including run charts, regression analysis and linear forecasting
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
