Manager of PODS of Augusta

The ideal candidate will have experience hiring, training, and managing a team of three drivers, will be able to maintain a fleet of equipment, and will provide excellent customer service.  

  • SALARY: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 annually depending on experience
  • BONUS: Eligible for a bonus if all equipment is maintained “like new” and drivers are hitting their ETA’s and are providing excellent customer service.
  • SCHEDULE: Average workweek is 30 to 40 hours, PODS of Augusta operates six days a week from 7:30 AM until the routes are complete. The day usually ends between 1 PM to 4 PM depending on demand.   Summer demand is higher than in winter. 
  • BENEFITS: Being such a small company we do not offer retirement or health care. A valid and clean driver’s license is required.  Any candidate would need to be approved by insurance to drive company trucks.  A CDL is not required.  Physical and drug screen are required.  Two weeks of vacation.

    • SCHEDULE: Able to schedule and monitor drivers to maintain efficiency. Able to perform driver functions when the business dictates. 
    • Must be able to maintain four trucks, four pieces of delivery equipment, one forklift and 400 containers. This is accomplished by monitoring the forklift, trucks and delivery equipment inside and out on a daily basis.  Must immediately notify ownership if any repairs need to be made.
    • Container repairs are minimal and notify owners of any major repairs.
    • Ensure drivers wash their trucks daily and maintain the interior.
    • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, organized and functional warehouse and loading yard.
  • DELIVER EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE: Able to demonstrate sensitivity to customer needs and proactively address customer needs; Able to make customer satisfaction a high priority, resolving any problems or disputes within 24 hours.
