Job Description


To help deliver a high-quality EcoSystem Release  by representing Supply Chain and ensuring the system functionality requirements, design, testing and training fully represent the Supply Chain business process. To represent Supply Chain  in the EcoSystem Program  in requirements, design, testing and training as part of other PODS business processes (Finance, Sales etc….). To be a liaison between the EcoSystem program and Supply Chain staff. To collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders on EcoSystem activities. To infuse the EcoSystem business analysts, testing and training teams with knowledge of the full lifecycle of  supply chain processes. To help build training and conduct training workshops. To participate in EcoSystem committees and sub-projects as required. 


  • Serves as the business liaison for a specific PODS Supply Chain business area with general knowledge of the business area
  • Understands PODS business as a whole and is able to recognize overlap between parts of the business in order to request additional expertise from subject matter experts for other business areas as needed.
  • Attends demos for product selection as well as demos by developers of newly developed functionality, asking questions to ensure that business capabilities are being met; provides constructive feedback and identifies gaps accordingly.
  • Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects across the organization. Duties include: activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, creating and assessing performance measurements, and striving for continuous improvement
  • Works with developers to identify solutions that meet the document requirements.
  • Contribute to authoring, editing, and reviewing the business requirement documentation as it relates to supply chain, fixed assets, inventory assets and overlapping areas.
  • Maintains a presence in their business area such that any new capabilities, processes, policies, or changes from the business are captured to ensure alignment.
  • Gain proficiency in related, overlapping business areas in order to obtain a greater understanding of the integration of functionality in these areas.
  • Ability to understand and recognize when additional technical capabilities or business knowledge base is required.
  • Reviews the functional design documentation to ensure the design is aligned with the business requirement documentation and meets the needs of the business.
  • Assists the business analyst in updating, reviewing and maintaining all required documents that support technical implementations.
  • Seeks to identify any undocumented processes needed for the development of the new system based on the stage of system development.
  • Serves as point of contact within their business area for users to ask questions and make suggestions
  • Ensures business stakeholders are kept up to date with all related activities and decisions made for technical implementation.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of Usability Testing and Process Walkthroughs.
  • Serves as part of the Change Control Management team to guide the entire organization through the transition from Legacy systems to new systems.
  • Assists Quality Assurance in reviewing both scenarios and test cases related to Supply Chain needs and consulting SMEs as needed.
  • Document gaps in the requirements for review by Change Control Board.
  • Participate in daily SCRUM meetings.
  • When needed, support the development of process flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate on the creation of training materials and help deliver training on new systems.
  • Assist in any projects requested by Leadership

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years Supply Chain experience including:
    • Inventory Management
    • Warehouse Management
  • Ability to work with large data sets
  • Superior Analytical Skills; Attention to Detail
  • Project Management skills
  • First/Last mile execution experience and long distance logistics experience preferred
