Job Description


It’s an exciting time to join the PODS Brand and Marketing Communications team. We are instigating new voice and tone guidelines and reimagining content across all channels. We are looking for a new teammate with sharp project management skills, attention to detail, the ability to be an advocate for and keeper of brand standards, and someone who has fundamental messaging strategy chops that will drive project brief development and integrated messaging. Our new teammate will assist the Director of Brand and Marketing Communications in creative, communications, and content project management. This person will work closely with internal departments to assist with fulfilling requests for marketing materials and oversee internal and freelance creative teams’ workflows. 



  • Lead various marketing projects including local and national efforts to support creative, communications, and content needs
  • Maintains annual creative and major projects calendar
  • Responsible for asset management, including storage, distribution, file naming, and talent usage rights
  • Support internal brand launch efforts
  • Ensures all corporate materials are updated with new brand standards (email signatures, PowerPoint templates, business cards, etc) 
  • Oversee advertising agency, internal and external copy and design teams in support of creative development
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots 
  • Coordinate all promotional items development and distribution; manage promotional website
  • Primary point person for specific creative marketing requests by the franchisees and corporate locations
  • Perform general administrative duties, including invoice management, for the department as needed.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Four year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 2 year’s prior work experience in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
  • Working at or supervising advertising and PR agencies required, prefer a current/former advertising agency account executive 
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously required
  • Experience with content, messaging, and brand identity projects preferred 
  • Familiarity with MS Office, including: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
