Job Description


This person will act as the primary administrator of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to apply best practices for managing the platform and help provide strategy and direction with respect to leveraging all of its marketing capabilities. This role will work collaboratively across the Marketing organization to help design and execute marketing campaigns that leverage all of the tools available on our Salesforce platform to deliver targeted customer communications and capture new leads.


  • Oversee our Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance to support communication, demand generation and lead capture efforts.
  • Manage the automated data import process in partnership with IT and other cross-functional business partners.
  • Lead efforts to expand capabilities and create efficiencies with in SFMC
  • Create and execute personalized and dynamic email and SMS campaigns.
  • Work closely across the marketing team to provide input on best practices for digital customer engagement.
  • Establish best practices for SFMC operations.
  • Create landing pages and webforms using SFMC Web Studio.
  • Provide reporting and metrics related to all activity within SFMC.
  • Leverage marketing technology to automate campaigns where possible while applying customization and personalization.
  • Execute with clarity and precision using a customer-centric view.
  • Take a data-driven approach to marketing campaigns and prioritization of resources.
  • Build and maintain marketing campaigns using automations and journeys that groom prospects via email/text message/
  • Able to utilize Return Path to run robust reports and monitor IP health
  • Trouble shooting and support of platforms including management of 3rd party support services.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related technology field
  • 3-5 years of experience managing Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
  • SFMC Certification (Marketing Cloud Developer Certification Preferred)
  • Have the expertise to create personalized, dynamic messages and landing pages, and are fluent in Marketing Cloud scripting languages.
  • Strong SFMC SQL skills
  • Experienced in advanced segmentation, and data configuration
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking (campaign metrics and website analytics)
  • Display effective leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written)
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
  • Able to handle multiple priorities at once
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of digital advertising eco-system
