Job Description


Responsible for making and receiving telephone calls with the intent of promoting or selling company products or services to commercial customers.  Provides customer support and refers more complex issues and lead opportunities to senior sales staff.  Utilizes an in-depth knowledge of products and customer needs to generate sales and exceed client expectations while adhering to company policy and operational requirements.


  • Maintains high phone adherence to sell to and service commercial customers
  • Solve complex customer service issues
  • Outbound sales programs
  • Work with existing sales manager staff and provide assistance in managing new and existing business relationships. 
  • Cultivates and communicates lead opportunities for sales team that turn into long-term solution-oriented relationships
  • In-depth knowledge with competitor strengths and weaknesses and ability to leverage this knowledge for company benefit in generating business.
  • Maintains relationships with franchisees and corporate operations staff that is customerand profit-focused
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Typically reports to Management.  Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Sup - Sales and Service center Operations
  • Job isNOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)


Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a high volume call center or three years in a customer service related environment
  • Minimum 2years’ experience working in a business to business environment preferred
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience



  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate. Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device


  • Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements: Negligible
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours
  • May be subject to  pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
