Job Description

PODS Enterprises LLC, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is currently seeking a Regional Account Executive to drive growth of our products and services in the commercial sector.

The Regional Account Executive will be responsible for an assigned corporate market where they will grow revenue and enhance PODS’ competitive position through development and implementation of sales initiatives and local sales programs. This position is a “grassroots” role with a focus on driving new business and commercial opportunities. If you are a high-activity outside sales representative who is motivated by growing revenue from untapped sources, PODS would like to speak with you about joining our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive strategies to ensure revenue growth for a set target segment to include local commercial, relocation and associations
  • Develop new business to grow the individual and commercial customers while maximizing existing client base
  • Manage existing customer relationships to increase utilization and increase revenue by driving “net new” opportunities
  • Establish relationships with agents, brokers, remodeling companies and staging companies to develop contacts
  • Conduct presentations to educate consumers on our products, services and conduct needs analysis for utilizing company’s product to ultimately close deals
  • Focus sales strategy on specific business segments as directed, and based on the needs of the company
  • Understand and adapt to market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Implement marketing action plans and sales initiatives to drive more sales
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly internal and external reports for tracking leads and sales
  • Provide regular activity reports to the General Manager and VP of Sales
  • Up to 50% local travel by car in assigned region
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 – 5 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated success developing/generating new business
  • Proven track record of prospecting and building strategic networks
  • Adeptness and prior demonstrated success in cold calling and closing sales
  • Ability to grasp and implement solutions based selling techniques
  • Self-starter who is motivated by “closing the deal”
  • Ability to drive and possess a current/valid driver license issued by the state you work in
  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
