Job Description


Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of Enterprise Technology projects to ensure that goals and/or objectives of each project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budgetary parameters.



  • Develop technology related project plans, including milestones, tracking of user acceptance testing and sign-offs
  • Develop risk analyses for each project, including critical dependencies and contingency plans
  • Work with Technology Management to schedule the projects around available resources
  • Develop a dashboard and report project statuses to Technology Management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work with Technology Management to plan resources around project loading
  • Provide motivation, leadership, and direction for project resources.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Manager, Program Management
  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management). The job is responsible for managing IT contractors as required by the nature of projects.


Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • PMP Certification
  • 7-10 years direct experience as an Technology Project Manager
  • Experience with Waterfall & Agile SDLC methodologies
  • 2+ years providing direction and leadership to others
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project Professional & Project Server
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server a plus
  • Able to exercise best judgment in planning and executing schedules
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties 
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience


  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device


  • Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required, including nights and weekend as needed.
  • Travel requirements: Negligible
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required
  • May be subject to pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
