Manager – NetSuite Development

Are you a NetSuite Developer looking for an exciting new challenge?  Would you like to live minutes away from the top US beaches?  PODS moving and storage is developing an entirely new platform of systems, and we are looking for a passionate Manager of NetSuite Development to head up our new NetSuite team and oversee the development, customization and support of our new system.

Candidates we are looking to review for immediate hire, should have the following skills and experience:

Experience

  • 10+ years programming experience with one or more additional full scale, OO programming languages
  • 7+ years implementing NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript, HTML and CSS
  • Advanced knowledge of NetSuite architecture from a software development perspective
  • Experience implementing NetSuite add-ons to integrate functionality such as credit card processing, ACH, address verification, eSignatures, CRM, etc.
  • Experience building and consuming APIs using SOAP and/or REST
  • Experience implementing NetSuite SCA solutions
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related technical discipline

Job Requirements

Additional Considerations for Role

  • Provide leadership in all areas of the development process, including developing and guiding team members through standards and best practices, functional/technical design and implementation, etc.
  • Mentor fellow team members in NetSuite, SuiteScript, and web service API integrations
  • Once Phase I of the NetSuite implementation is complete, the new team member will be the senior most member of the NetSuite development team, and will lead the team in the maintenance and support of the NetSuite interface and integration points as well as overseeing new development

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device

Working Conditions

  • Regular business hours.  Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements:  Negligible
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required
  • May be subject to  pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
