Job Description

PODS, a leader in the moving and storage industry, is currently seeking a Human Resources Intern to work out of our corporate headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.

The primary focus of this role will be supporting our Benefits department. The Intern may also work with other HR business units within Total Rewards, such as Payroll, Compensation and/or Human Resources Information Systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated to identify and solve problems creatively
  • Ability to organize data and deliverables simply and neatly for leadership to review
  • Work/Collaborate cross-functionally with other groups to contribute research and analysis to HR initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to think critically and analyze multiple correlating data
  • Comfortable responding to employee questions via phone and email
  • Basic Microsoft Skills- Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of Benefits, FMLA and Worker’s Compensation preferred
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and maximum of 25 hours per week
  • Current Junior, Senior or Graduate Student preferred
