Job Description

PODS Enterprises LLC, a leader in the moving and storage industry, is currently seeking a Fixed Asset Coordinator to work out of our corporate headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.

The Fixed Assets Coordinator will be responsible for updating the fixed assets database to accurately reflect replacements, transfers and disposals of PODS’ storage containers. They will also manage repair calculation and verification of containers, used container sales, and lease of containers to PODS’ franchises.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and reassign PODS’ inter-franchise and corporate containers
  • Identify and manage the inter-franchise container replacement process for franchise locations
  • Update Fixed Assets database with container replacements, transfers, disposals and other miscellaneous items
  • Manage Fixed Asset emails from corporate locations, franchises, repair facilities and other departments
  • Review and modify excel spreadsheets on container repairs
  • Review container repair completed by external parties and franchisees and provide AP with approved invoices
  • Review and credit corporate market P&L’s for container repairs completed
  • Manage and provide leased containers to Billing and Collection for Franchise billings
  • Manage and record revenue for leased containers to specified corporate markets
  • Provide upper management with key reports such as Net Book Value of containers, outstanding container replacements, etc.
  • Train and manage seasonal-fixed asset coordinator(s)
  • Act as backup to the Fixed Asset Accountant for items such as depreciation expense, adds and disposals
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 year Business Degree with focus on Accounting/Finance preferred
  • 2+ years prior experience with responsibilities in fixed assets, accounting, logistics
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting critical deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
