Job Description

PODS Enterprises LLC, a leader in the moving and storage industry, is growing. We are currently seeking an ELD (Electronic Logging Device) Analyst to work out of corporate headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.

The ELD Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the data captured by PODS’ Electronic Logging Device Platform, PeopleNet. The Analyst will also utilize data to identify/implement best practices to optimize operational efficiencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the ELD platform well enough to extract critical data to formulate reports that will lead to improved driver safety and operation efficiencies
  • Maintain relationship with our ELD vendor, PeopleNet
  • Assist in the training of ELD users on use and care of ELD equipment, as well as data entry and usage of various logging reports.
  • Acts in the role of ELD Subject Matter Expert, Super User, and Administrator for Reporting and Analytics
  • Maintain daily operational awareness the ELD platform and reporting capabilities
  • Understands and monitor HOS (Hours of Service) compliance
  • Notify the appropriate personnel when DOT (Department of Transportation) violations are identified using the ELD platform
  • Oversee paper logs, including but not limited to, reviewing logs for accuracy, returning log errors to drivers for correction, entering data, and maintaining the file system for paper logs and log edits.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience working with ELDs, in-vehicle software and/or training preferred
  • Ability to capture, analyze and communicate data effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Display high level of professionalism while interacting with internal/external customers through email, phone and face-to-face communication
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including strong Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Associates Degree or equivalent training/experience
