Job Description


Responsible for leadership and management of the Business Intelligence and Business Data Systems, including design, development and maintenance of the business intelligence, data and analytics platform and solutions architecture and delivery. Responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to implement data and reporting solutions to provide insights into business performance and needs.



  • Provides strategic and realistic vision and insight into how information can be leveraged.
  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and managing a data governance program to ensure integrity and consistency of enterprise data.
  • Works with all business areas, corporate functions and IT Leadership responsible for driving the business analytics solutions that provide for insights into performance and business growth objectives as well as cost saving opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Ensures that the organization achieves returns on investments in analytics that meet or exceed the needs of the business.
  • Directs and manages information systems that enable timely and effective use of resources.
  • Provides leadership and management for resources and tools that provide business reporting, solution strategy for information delivery, data administration, data acquisition/integration, analytics, and data management on an enterprise level.
  • Leads simultaneous initiatives; coordinates the development of IT plans, projects and processes.
  • Works with stakeholders to manage delivery and lead teams of data analytics resources in the design and delivery of information systems solutions.
  • Assists in leveraging data as an asset throughout the organization.
  • Drives the development, execution, monitoring and evaluation of the analytics strategy and delivery. Maintains a long-range enterprise systems plan consistent with business objectives. Accountable for Enterprise Data Management and Analytics strategic planning.
  • Collaborates with peers to ensure understanding of current technology trends and implement new solutions. Direct analysis, development, implementation and support of data and analytics functions. Design and deployment of data extraction, ETL, SQL queries, stored procedures, OLAP cubes, dashboards, and analytics reporting.
  • Responsible for advancing data architecture, database model and load processes.
  • Ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL activities.

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in related field preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in advanced analytics architecture, deployment and support.
  • 5+ years’ experience in leading data architecture, data mining, data modeling and data reporting teams.
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge in relational database design, NoSQL unstructured databases (Mongo, Cassandra, …etc), JSON schema, and API architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience architecting and designing cloud based databases, including DBaaS.
  • Experience with business intelligence design, tools and reporting.
  • Experience implementing data management processes, procedures, data quality management and decision support.
  • Knowledgeable in current technology and industry trends.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into easily understandable concepts.
  • Ideal candidates would be competent in: enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, ETL data mapping tools, middleware services, and data profiling tools.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
