Job Description


Responsible for using workforce management software to ensure staffing and scheduling functions are performed efficiently and on a timely basis to ensure that the Sales and Service Center  is meeting optimum performance standards. Use strong data research and analytical skills to prepare staffing plans and present reports and analysis of data, and impacts, to Sales and Service Center Management.


  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly reporting and statistical analysis as is required to facilitate timely and accurate staffing and scheduling
  • Communicate with appropriate management staff to aid in the running of the Sales and Service Center and to find resolution to issues affecting employees relating to staffing or scheduling
  • Gather schedule requests/exceptions and match to staffing requirements
  • Coordinate real time schedule adjustments based on business needs
  • Perform research and analysis for both preliminary system designs and system enhancements
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Typically reports to Management.  Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Supervisor, Workforce Management
  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
  • 1-2 years experience working in a high volume Call Center with working knowledge as it relates to forecasting, scheduling, trending and analysis in a Call Center environment
  • Hands-on operation experience with a Workforce Management System and/or call center reporting system
  • Experience using Crystal Reports with the ability to create models, customize reports, and depict important information extracted from data in clear and creative ways
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience


  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device


  • Regular business hours.  Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements:  Negligible
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required
  • May be subject to  pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
