Job Description


The field team is responsible for growing brand awareness and demand generation at the market level. The team manages all local marketing activities and events throughout the Corporate Owned PODS locations, as well as provides strategic direction and support the franchise community. 

The Field Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the field marketing team with key field marketing initiatives, managing market level marketing budgets and building the PODS brand in corporately owned markets. 


  • Responsible for oversight for the Corp Ops advertising spending budget. Directly manage the market level advertising budgets, working under direction from the Field Marketing Team, Advertising Team, Agencies/Vendor Partners, Finance and Account Receivable to ensure all market media spending is accurately tracked, accounted for and reported 
  • Be conduit to ensure spending is aligned between agency, finance, accounts receivable and the marketing team
  • Manage under field marketing manager(s) supervision sponsorships, local marketing events and trade deals in the corporate markets
  • Manage and approve all field donation requests, establish the value for the trade and work directly with vendors to negotiating brand exposure of greater value for approved deals
  • Work cross functionally to garner approvals for all recommended local marketing activities
  • Work with Revenue Management team to assign accurate container values for all trade deals
  • Work with operations team to ensure field container deliveries for marketing deals are scheduled
  • Organize any local marketing activities including coordination of container deliveries, on-site support as needed, media asset development and delivery for trade deals or sponsorships
  • Working with local markets, determine and establish process for seed containers (containers strategically placed for brand exposure) within the local markets
  • Oversee our national Yellow Pages vendor/agreement and program under direction form Director Of Marketing Communications
  • Provide reporting working with analysts and cross functional teams to support the Corp Ops Team with regular and campaign performance reporting
  • Work with creative team as needed to produce assets needed for local marketing activities
  • Working with field market team, help ensure all media assets are delivered as needed
  • Work with internal media team or agency as needed to develop supporting campaigns or evaluate/value assets for media components to sponsorships, trade deals or local marketing events
  • Send written communications to the field on all the programs overseeing
  • Other administrative tasks, including billing reconciliation, local market media trafficking 



  • Reports to Field Marketing Manager


JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or Business and 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably managing media, local marketing or agency experience
  • Experience with media support or coordination
  • Local event management experience helpful
  • Expertise in excel is strongly preferred
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience

Job Requirements


  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device 


  • Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements: 10% domestic travel
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
  • May be subject to pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
