Job Description


Responsible for coordinating and expediting billing adjustments for customers and franchisees.  Process and prepare Franchise, Retail, National and Local Consolidated invoicing on a monthly basis.   Provide support including problem-solving assistance, maintaining detailed records, and communication with internal customers as well as Corporate and Franchise locations.


  • Process and Prepare Direct Bill and Consolidated Invoicing each month for customers
  • Initiate daily Retail invoicing
  • Generate invoices for fees and services to Franchisees
  • Review customer accounts and explain in detail invoicing and adjustments
  • Assure compliance with credit and collection policies and procedures
  • Review and resolve invoice discrepancies including promo/discount related errors
  • Assist in processing incoming customer calls related to specialized billing such as consolidated invoicing
  • Resolve and respond to e-mail inquiries related to customer or franchise billing issues or disputes
  • Post customer satisfaction adjustments to customer accounts
  • Prepare refund requests for closed accounts and submit for approval
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Typically reports to Management.  Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Mgr - AR Remediation
  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years billing, customer service or administrative experience
  • Ability to handle difficult customer phone calls and determine when to escalate the call to the Billing Manager
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience


  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; Ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device


  • Regular business hours.  Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements:  Negligible
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
  • May be subject to  pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
