JOB SUMMARY 

The Brand Communications Intern will assist in developing and monitoring corporate image, brand identity, and external communication plans, including social media and public relations. A passion for problem solving and superior writing skills as well as attention to detail are a must. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Writing social media posts to help build brand affinity, grow awareness, increase engagement, and boost conversion
  • Acquiring imagery for our blog and social media posts
  • Providing exceptional customer support through social media and review platforms
  • Collaborating with social media influencers to reach new audiences
  • Writing news releases and assisting with public relations initiatives
  • Growing brand’s presence in search results with local listings
  • Other functions as determined by manager

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or be within one year of receiving degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or other related field
  • High level of expertise on multiple social media and review platforms
  • Stay up to date on any relevant social media trends or language
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google’s web-based office suite
  • High level of proficiency in writing and proofreading
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effectively communicate the same message written in multiple ways
