Job Description


Responsible for accounting and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.



  • Accomplish monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger closing procedures; assist in preparation of financial reports and documents in accordance with GAAP and corporate standards: balance sheet/income statement/statement of cash flows
  • Assist in the accounting, reconciliation, and financial analysis for assigned general ledger accounts
  • Perform monthly accounting and analysis over assigned accounts while working across various department to ensure operational understanding and proper accounting; ensure identification of accounting discrepancies and irregularities and assist with the resolution.
  • Prepare supporting schedule for internal and external audits
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Typically reports to Sr. Accountant or Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Accountant III or Mgr - Accounting  
  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
  • 3-4 years of accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to focus on details, as necessary.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of current SEC rules and regulations preferred
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience


  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device


  • Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements: Negligible
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours
  • Regular attendence and punctuality required
  • May be subject to pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
