JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for addressing HR Employee Data Reporting and Compliance driving system utilization, employee data integrity and compliance, performing HR system testing, and contributing to system documentation. Systems may include Payroll, HRIS, Onboarding Resources and Applicant Tracking, communication tools and other third party applications or solutions used by the Human Resource team. This individual serves as a Compliance point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists system users with ensuring data integrity, audit and compliance, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Supervisor – HR Data & Compliance also supports HRIS upgrades, reporting of all associate data, testing, and other HCM projects as assigned. Analyzes data from various business systems to create and maintain metrics reporting and makes process improvement recommendations.   Examines and evaluates accuracy of new hire/all associate data, reporting of employee data and develops new, or improve existing format, use, and control of the data.   Leads the new hire compliance team and lead team on process and efficiencies according.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting and data integrity for all Associates information in the Payroll and HRIS/HCM system.  
  • Lead the New Hire Compliance process and team post-employment offer to first payroll to ensure compliance according to employment background and standards for hiring
  • Ensure HR meets the Internal and External Audit controls for all associate records for Active and Terminated associates.
  • Maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard and ad hoc reports in support of HR/Recruiting department. 
  • Interpret data and analyze results to provide ongoing reporting to the department/business. 
  • Work with management to determine business reporting needs to define and develop more effective reporting solutions. 
  • Analyze data to recognize trends and patterns. 
  • Creation of custom Excel reports 
  • Ability to develop representations of findings to be included in business presentations, including reports, charts, and graphs of metrics data and analysis. 
  • Creation of advanced custom Excel reports 

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Typically reports to Director.   Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Director of HR– Total Rewards                 
  • Job is directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management, time card/PTO approver)

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Three or more years technical experience in Human Resource Management systems such as, Payroll, HRIS, Applicant Tracking, Associate onboarding tools and other third party applications or solutions 
  • Degree Business Management, HR/HRIS, or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of HRIS software including integrations of HR data between multiple systems such as HR and Payroll
  • Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools
  • Able to use required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, presentations, electronic communication, and complex spreadsheets including   formulas and macros and/or databases. Able to operate   general office equipment including company telephone system
  • Experience with HR Compliance, HR data analysis, creation of HRIS analytics, or HR digital records management
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and onboarding requirements and procedures in order to ensure compliance (i.e. Background, I9, Internal and External Audit policies)
  • Ability to combine data from multiple sources when needed for the analysis and audits
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
