Job Description



The Specialist II – Media Partnerships and Sponsorships will be responsible for helping to manage a multimillion dollar budget across Sponsorships, Television, Audio, OOH, OTT, Print, and other traditional advertising channels.  This role will have experience in negotiating national sponsorship/media partnership agreements and managing relationships with key media/sponsorship vendors. The Specialist II – Media Partnerships and Sponsorships will ensure PODS receives the best media placements and exposure, minimizing PODS investment for the largest return. 




  • Responsible for day-to-day management of all paid/trade sponsorships and advertising partnerships – including the management of existing, and identification/assessment of new opportunities to drive incremental revenue
  • Work with analytics team to evaluate the effectiveness of sponsorships by measuring performance against business KPIs: revenue, quotes, new prospects
  • Oversee financial process related to sponsorships 
  • In partnership with TV team, develop deeper relationships with key media partners, creating and execute a strategy to increase TV sponsorships and integrations – featuring PODS Containers in relevant content
  • Work cross functionally with the product, creative, brand, and other teams to create, implement, and optimize integrated campaigns that deliver against business goals 
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for Sponsorships, Audio, and Television channels
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements


  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising or related Business degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
  • 4 - 6 years experience in managing and optimizing the performance of marketing channels
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience working at a media agency, managing a media agency, sports property and/or entertainment industry is preferred
  • Experience buying/managing a national advertising budget is preferred
  • Experience using a media/sponsorship attribution platform is preferred
  • Experience using GA360 or other analytics platforms is preferred


  • Typically reports to Management.   Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: VP, Media and Sponsorships
  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)
