Job Description


It’s an exciting time to join the PODS Brand and Marketing Communications team. We are instigating new voice and tone guidelines and reimagining content across all channels. We are looking for a new teammate with content management experience, blog management and writing experience, knowledge of SEO best practices, creative writing chops, and experience managing creative teams or freelancers. Our new teammate will support the development of blog, email and web communications. This person will work closely with the digital team and other internal departments, and will be responsible for overseeing internal and external creative teams’ workflows.


  • Responsible for the execution of content marketing initiatives that are on-strategy and on-brand
  • Responsible for managing the company’s website content (in Sitecore) and delivering new content that is on-strategy and posted on-time
  • Manage incoming requests and deadlines from the marketing team while overseeing the development of new content by external freelancers and/or agency partners
  • Responsible for website QA tracking and editing within Sitecore
  • Coordinates with SEO and creative agency partners as well as freelance copywriters to develop relevant, compelling content consistent with our brand voice and strategy
  • Uses consumer insights and other survey data to understand consumer personas; generates variations in content for multiple consumer segments and A/B testing
  • Perform content analysis on web content to support article refresh and increase channel performance
  • Perform general administrative duties, including invoice management and meeting scheduling, for the department as needed
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required

  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other full time employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • BA/BS or its equivalent is required; degree in Communications, Advertising or Marketing is preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Direct experience with Sitecore CMS required
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects at a time
  • Must be passionate about creating a positive customer experience
  • Exceptional editing and project management skills are required
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
