Job Description


As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer you will be responsible for attracting top talent in your assigned vertical. You will collaborate with Recruiters, HRBPs, and Hiring Leaders to identify the ideal candidates for assigned roles. Sourcers will actively identify and engage passive candidates on various tools and databases, promoting PODS as an employer of choice and an industry leader. You will maintain active list of qualified candidates in assigned areas.




Candidate Identification:

  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research.
  • Research, develop and utilize innovative recruitment strategies to provide a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Use filters and Boolean keywords searches within resume database tools to find ideal candidates.
  • Screen candidate profiles and resumes for preferred qualifications.   

Candidate Engagement:

  • Use company’s mission, vision and value statements to attract candidates that add value to our culture.
  • Manage on-going relationships with passive candidates and development them to active candidates.
  • Possess strong communication skills to describe our culture and employee value proposition.

Partnership / Collaboration:

  • Use market data to present HRBPs and Recruiters information on candidates, competitors, job titles, and salaries in local markets.
  • Make recommendations to hiring teams and retarget candidate search based on the hiring team feedback.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives, including employment branding activities.
  • Recommend ideas, strategies, and tools to improving the recruitment process.
  • Track and report employees hired by sourcing efforts, auditing recruiting reports for sourcing hires and source of hire.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates / Bachelors degree preferred
  • 2-4 years prior talent acquisition sourcing or recruiting experience with demonstrated success in performing targeted recruiting searches both at the non-exempt and exempt level
  • Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment
  • Prior project management experience preferred
  • Mix of corporate and agency experience would be ideal
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience


JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Essential Skills, Abilities and Example Behavior(s)

  • Strong research and candidate generation skills
  • Proactive consultative style with exceptional communications skills
  • Minimum typing skills 40 wpm
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
