JOB SUMMARY

The Risk and Insurance Manager will support the risk management function relating all aspects of the enterprise wide risk management program, including the ERM architecture for the company.   Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risk exposures, managing the overall cost of insurance, compliance with rules and regulations relating to the insurance program, and managing/coordinating with the services providers.  The position will be the administrator for the RMIS system, responsible to deploy state of the art technology solutions and manage the ongoing system application that provides metrics and methodologies in order to monitor, analyze, and report on risk exposures throughout the organization. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System administrator of the of the RMIS
  • Manage, develop and communicate corporate-wide analytics that are used to measure the company’s insurance and risk transfer programs
  • Design and secure risk profile from organization functional teams and stakeholders to manage insurance process
  • Conduit for risk profile data for service providers of insurance and risk transfer program
  • Manages and coordinates department accruals, allocations, budget, and payment processes
  • Ability to collaborate and build business partnerships with internal and external clients
  • Manage contract verification and certificate of insurance process
  • Partner with organization functional teams in developing meaningful tools relating to risk performance
  • Build and maintain quality working relationships with service providers, stakeholders and internal departments

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus of Risk or Finance Major preferred or equivalent work experience
  • ARM, CIP or CRM designation preferred
  • 5 + years of professional experience required
  • Advanced computer technology and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverage types, products and uses
  • Working knowledge of risk finance and transfer methodologies
  • Ability to identify areas of risk and to propose solutions to mitigate the impact on the organization
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Positive attitude and Professional demeanor
