PODS is expanding the Regional sales team throughout the country.  This position is responsible for ensuring our sales team is designing innovative and highly customized sales solutions for private customers as well as state and local within their assigned territory.  Coaching new team on driving new business and commercial opportunities for all non-national companies. Responsible for managing a team of high-activity outside sales representatives that will focus on growing revenue from other managing existing accounts as well as generating new customers.


PODS is looking for a home based, highly motivated, self-disciplined individual with a proven sales track record in managing a remote sales team. 



  • Interview and Hire new regional sales team. Ensure training, 30/60/90 startup plans and annual review goals are accomplished.
  • Drive strategies and sales to ensure the regional sales team is developing new business and therefore revenues, as well as ongoing account management.
  • Ride along with regional sales team regularly offering coaching and skills improvement.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction of team’s managed accounts.
  • Manage policies, procedures, performance criteria/standards, and metrics, focused on continuous improvements in productivity with respect to regional sales team revenue targets.
  • Maintain existing customers and increase revenue by cultivating accounts, by driving “net new” opportunities, creating long-term customers.
  • Avid management of CRM for tracking status of teams’ prospects, new customers and tracking customer’s lifecycle.
  • Company subject matter expert for competitive marketplace as well as assisting marketing with regional nuances and opportunities.
  • Development of annual sales tactical plan based on assigned quota, with monthly reporting on plan status.
  • Gather and submit proposals, presentations, and business RFP to prospective customers.
  • Assist product development with the launch of new products and services within territory assigned.
  • Ensure team develops a robust pipeline of quantifiable business contacts and suspects, through referrals, cold calling, phone canvassing, web meetings email and networking.
  • Identify and participate with sales team in vertical specific tradeshows, customer shows and trade associations.
  • Assist marketing with content development for assigned verticals.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitors, trends and product innovations to executive management.
  • Manage team expenses within company budget.
  • Work closely with VP of Sales on performance and enhancements
  • Partner closely with support departments (call center commercial, training, billing, marketing, and logistics) to improve overall customer sales and service experience.
