Job Description


Directly responsible for the management and overall performance of the web development and QA teams. This role leads a team of software engineers and QA professionals focused on delivering customer facing web application enhancements as well as supports the broader marketing and SSC technology stack. The Enterprise Web Development manager is also responsible for the stability of our code base, supporting infrastructure and coordinates with IT on ensuring web security standards are being met.  In addition, this role serves as the point person between IT and Web Development including collaboration with key departments in IT such as infrastructure, architecture and security teams providing guidance and engineering expertise of our current and future states.



  • Accountable for the overall performance and productivity of development and QA personnel reporting to this position
  • Responsible for the stability of the code base as well as Azure cloud environment.   
  • Works with development and QA teams, project managers or business stakeholders on sizing sprint capacities.
  • Evaluates and recommends products to either increase productivity, stabilization or security.
  • Manages vendor relationships with tools and software used as well as development partners.   
  • Managing oncall process and coordinates oncalls with IT.  
  • Reporting team progress on sprints and projects to leadership.
  • Works with Accounting to insure monthly Opex and Capex time is being reported.
  • Ability to provide some coding when necessary.   
  • Lead and mentor development and QA team members
  • Works with IT to create efficient communications between the groups and provide timely updates on work requests.
  • Serves as the web representative to the IT department.
  • Responsible for promoting and evolving best practices and continuous process improvement 
  • Stay abreast of new and future business needs and track and report impact of changes to interdependent functional areas
  • Resondible for managing and improving SDLC workflows into the software delivery team 

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as a lead developer
  • Bachelor’s degree in related filed or equivalent combination of education or experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Engineering / Architecture
  • Strong experience with software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong experience with Agile and Traditional (Waterfall) project management methodologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment management using tools
