Job Description


Manager of IT FP&A is a key role within the IT and Finance organizations with direct support of the Company’s CIO. The role is responsible for preparing and compiling the IT annual operating budget, developing quarterly forecasts, identifying and analyzing budget and forecast variances, supporting IT project managers in developing financial projections and operating metrics for ad-hock projects and providing financial support in development of corrective action plans to achieve department goals.



  • Organize financial information and prepare reports in a format that can be quickly reviewed by senior management and relevant department leads.
  • Prepare financial projections (annual budget and quarterly forecasts) and assess performance against budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Compile operating metrics for weekly/monthly department review meetings
  • Prepare presentations of financial and operating results for senior management
  • Provide financial support to department leaders to achieve department goals
  • Support the department leaders with the development of corrective action plans
  • Manage the tracking of business initiatives and corrective action plans
  • Lead or assist with process improvement and automation, and other special projects as necessary
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned



  • Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: VP-Finance or Director of Finance
  • Job is responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA/CPA preferred but not required
  • 6+ years of relevant experience is required as a financial analyst
  • Knowledge of the following preferred: Intermediate accounting concepts, practices and procedures; familiarity with capex vs. opex concepts and accrual based accounting practices. IT -related FP&A experience Project management experience
  • Knowledge of project accounting and budgeting by project and/or product
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience



  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for minimum 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device


  • Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements: Approximately less than 10%
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
  • May be subject to pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
