Job Description


Responsible for partnering with the managers of Compensation, Managing, Payroll, Pre-boarding and HRIS in the various business initiatives that incorporate design, implementation, communication and administration of programs within their functional areas.  Ensure all programs support the organizations strategic objectives and meet all legal requirements. Ability to influence peers in order to achieve goals for the company.



  • Partner with the business area managers and assist where ever needed in the design, implementation and administration of the total rewards plans/programs: including but not limited to base pay/salary including incentive and bonus plan development, design and administration, 401(k), deferred compensation, health, dental, life/disability insurance, wellness, onboarding administration and other programs ensuring they support the company’s strategic and business objectives
  • Assure competitive benchmarking and analysis to ensure that we are aligned with market conditions and able to attract and retain top talent
  • Develop effective communications in partnership with the communication team to ensure employees are educated, aware and energized by our various information and programs within Total Rewards
  • Work directly with vendors to negotiate annual contracts and ensure superior levels of services for HR related systems (including but not limited to Onboarding requirements, HCM, Benefits Administration,
  • Partner with Compensation, HR and Business on various compensation plan creation options, implementation and recommendations for incentive plan development and ongoing analysis for various business units and roles with organization
  • Facilitate with compensation and performance management the annual/mid-year performance appraisal including an annual analysis of merit and bonus
  • Partner with pre-boarding manager, team and vendors to ensure compliance of the systems and process while hiring into the organization to ensure compliant from an internal and external new hire perspective.
  • Partner with benefits team and brokerage team on usage, trends and recommendations for plan changes as appropriate to ensure the benefits programs are competitive, cost effective and perceived as valuable to employees
  • Partner with payroll team on bi-weekly processing and ensure timeliness and accuracy of payroll for both US and Canada
  • Assist in preparing for Compensation Committee meeting materials or other materials for leadership meetings, as needed regarding executive projects
  • Partner, motivate, lead, and develop team members that offer excellent customer service and business solutions
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Job is directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • A. /B.S. Human Resources or related field of study; Master’s preferred but not required
  • 8 plus years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years operating at the management level
  • 5 plus years in the design and management of compensation plans and experience with benefits plans preferred
  • Experience with HR, payroll and HRIS processes preferred
  • Must possess highly evolved communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess the ability to think creatively and strategically understanding organizational and industry dynamics
  • Demonstrated experience as a strategic business partner to a variety of functional areas with diverse needs in a complex company environment
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
