Job Description

PODS Enterprises LLC, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is currently seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to support our Sales and Service Center in Clearwater, Florida. If you are an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong aptitude in Human Resources policies and procedures, PODS would like to speak with you.

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for performing a variety of activities for the Sales and Service Center, from responding to employee needs, to preparing for potential crises, to developing the next generation of leaders.

  • Initiation, coordination, and enforcement of human resources policies and procedures
  • Identification of legal requirements, government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources function (e.g., OSHA, EEO, TEFRA, ERISA, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, Wage & Hour).
  • Conflict management between employees and managers, respond to organizational changes, and resolve problems in the execution of business plans
  • Keeps the organization Union Free by keeping the employees engaged
  • Resolve issues quickly and provide a voice for all employees.
  • Communication of organizational culture to employees, communicate policies and procedures to employees
  • Ensures HR programs are aligned with culture, keeping the business units and functions updated on HR initiatives, track trends in employee behaviors
  • Safeguard associate records by establishing, entering, and controlling records; maintaining employee confidentiality
  • Identification of critical HR metrics, new business strategies, and talent issues before they affect the business, prioritize across HR needs
  • Redesigns structures around strategic objectives and understand the talent needs of the business

Job Requirements


  • College Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience serving in a human resources role required
  • Prior experience supporting a call center, contact center and/or sales & service center required
  • Consulting skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated influencing skills via relationships, information and data
  • The ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with people of diverse backgrounds and professional levels
  • Strong PC skills, with proficiency in using MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting critical deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
