JOB SUMMARY

The HCM and Data Analytics Director will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and directing HCM and all HR/Compliance system upgrades, evaluating and recommending business process improvements, and applying functional expertise in the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the HCM and other enterprise HR/Compliance applications.  This position develops and maintains customized and complex reports, dashboards and analytics around human capital.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the overall HR/Compliance system strategy and roadmap
  • Ensure systems focus on consistency, scalability and data accuracy 
  • Design, develop and implement HCM system and other HR/Compliance solutions to meet business requirements
  • Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve and connect systems to provide a more seamless associate and candidate experience
  • Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes and partner with teams on implementation of solutions
  • Develop reports and dashboards that meet the business needs for Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations and Learning & Development as well as HR overall dashboard.
  • Lead the HCM and Data Analytics team ensuring day to day system support is balanced with strategic enhancements, projects and reports.   
  • Establish process for managing quality through all development stages and maintain up to date documentation of system functions, processes and capabilities. 
  • Develop and promote continuous learning with the HCM and data analytics team
  • Provide support for HCM and other HR/Compliance solutions, including implementing changes and upgrades.
  • Develop and sustain appropriate controls to maintain reliable data and enable scalable reporting 
  • Work alongside IT department to meet the needs of the business
  • Oversee sourcing new software programs, implementation, contract renewals, and external vendor management. 
  • Responsible for working with VP procurement for all vendor contracts around systems HR utilizes 
  • Responsible for HR compliance reporting both internally and externally at the local, state, and federal level.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years within HCM system with at least 5 years of leading a team and developing the strategy
  • Experience leading system RFPs and implementations
  • Working knowledge of data privacy laws
  • Experience preparing and presenting summary information and proposals to Sr. Leadership
  • Experience developing, managing, and coaching teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with ability to adapt as needed
  • Experience and proven success in developing fit for purpose, technology-enabled systems and processes
  • Expertise in project management
  • Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem solving capabilities with demonstrated abilities to think creatively and strategically to solve and answer key business questions/problems
  • A results-oriented leader with a strong customer service focus and collaborative approach
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach
  • Must be a team player who is willing to role up their sleeves
