JOB SUMMARY
PODS moving and storage is implementing an entirely new ecosphere of applications including (ERP, HCM, CRM, CPQ, Warehouse and Inventory Management, Fleet Management, Web Services) . Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Application, the Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the delivery, management, and implementation of platforms, applications and solutions that support PODs customers, employees, and business partners aligned with one of the four major business organizations. We are looking for a passionate Director of Enterprise Applications to join PODS leadership team to lead the development, configuration, customization, and support of their new and modern systems as well as collaborate with other IT leaders to define the future strategic direction for PODS. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Solution Architects, Integration Engineers, Developers, and System Administrators in the Enterprise Applications team as PODS embarks upon the replacement and modernization of existing legacy platforms. Tasks include building SaaS based applications engineering bench strength, (internal and external) overseeing project/program implementations while establishing and maturing overall DevOps software development standards, procedures, and lifecycle.
The complexity of this position requires a leadership approach that is engaging, imaginative, and collaborative, with a sophisticated ability to develop scalable, supportable, maintainable, robust, and high-performing SaaS based solutions that meet PODS clients’ requirements. This will require the introduction of Agile, the Enterprise Application Development Methodology that integrates technology and business to quickly develop and deploy business solutions.
