JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing administrative, phone and clerical support to the Logistics Department with a focus on Inter-Franchise customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Send and receive emails and answer incoming and make outgoing phone calls; follow up on inquiries, field/answer routine calls/emails and non-routine questions or observations
  • Assist in KPI reporting
  • Data entry in Excel and TMW
  • Track the shipping progress of containers relative to the expected arrival
  • Work directly with Logistics Coordinators to reroute and expedite shipments to save on-time service
  • Act as liaison between Special Services Team in the SSC and PODS’ ocean shipping and bonded warehouse vendors
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • 3 - 5 years prior experience as an administrative assistant or performing clerical duties
  • 2+ year experience working for PODS preferred
  • Typing Skills: Minimum 35 wpm (Testing required)
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
