JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the leadership, analysis, and design of the Enterprise Information Architecture for PODS supporting our extraordinary company growth projections and digital experiences vision. Plays an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the Company’s technology strategy, processes, and information technology roadmap. Partners with both business and technology groups to ensure that the proposed technical solutions not only align with the Company’s overall objectives but also ensure that both groups enable and drive each other to meet the needs of the Company’s mission and vision. This position will require you to deliver IA blueprints and designs, in line with functional IA roadmaps. A core part of the role will also be to evangelize Information Architecture and the value and impact of good Information Architecture design and governance to both IT and business teams.
The candidate must be recognized as an expert in Enterprise Information Architecture, with a demonstrated track record of delivering the optimal design of data and information architectures to support business objectives. The candidate will possess the background, skills, and experience to independently initiate and coordinate teams in complex technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and prototyping exercises. The candidate will also show demonstrated success in designing and documenting data flows across the estate, designing data models for analytics/reporting, assessing the feasibility of data models, working with business data governance groups in establishing data standards (master, reference, structure), and working with solution architects on data integration and service architectures.
The candidate will have at least 12 years of experience working for a company or governmental agency with at least 300 employees (if private sector) or 500 employees (if governmental agency).

PROCESSES, METHODOLOGIES, AND TOOLS: The development of expertise and the provision of advice, assistance and leadership in processes, methodologies and tools used in any specific area of technology by focusing on definition, management, repeatability and measurement to ensure appropriate and effective use throughout the organization. Demonstrates basic knowledge and ability and, with guidance, can apply the competency in common situations that present limited difficulties. Selects appropriate tools and methodologies to deliver applications and systems that meet defined organizational business needs. Works with the QA Team to contribute to the continual improvement of QA standards and best practices. Reviews all integration components to ensure that source code control practices are followed. Captures functional and nonfunctional requirements. Develops business analysis practices and standards, as well as associated tools, templates and techniques. Reviews and identifies modifications to existing software development/integration process approaches. Develops new ways to achieve process improvements. Identifies where software process, methodologies and/or tools would increase the IT organization capacity to contribute to meeting business needs. Evaluates the effectiveness of development and integration processes, methodologies and tools used in application systems development activities.
