JOB SUMMARY
The Analyst III, Database Marketing and Reporting will be responsible for supporting campaign and marketing operations, reporting and analytics across the residential marketing organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leveraging and transforming structured and unstructured data into actionable insights and recommendations that improve acquisition and conversion efforts in support of annual revenue plans. This critical role will also support efforts to develop and evolve marketing data strategy with an emphasis on measurement efficacy, KPI development, data quality and accessibility.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide analytical database support to the Residential Marketing organization with respect to plan, campaign and channel performance, customer profiling and segmentation and behavioral analyses required to achieve a clear understanding of the PODS customer journey: traffic, quote, nurture and purchase – and provide recommendations to improve sales, conversion and spend effectiveness.
  • Translate data into actionable insights that tell a clear and compelling story and recommendations to drive the business forward.
  • Create, maintain and evolve reports, dashboards and visualizations to assist leadership and channel owners with day-to-day understanding of plan performance as well as risk and opportunity.
  • Support Residential Marketing demand planning efforts across the calendar year.
  • Partner with marketing data owners and IT to maintain and improve the accuracy, integrity and utilization of marketing and transactional data.
  • Serve as the data steward and IT liaison for marketing and transactional data needs - ensure data needs/issues are identified, tracked, reported to appropriate data owners and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support leadership and marketing data owners in the development of long-term data strategy roadmaps in partnership with IT.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
  • BS/BA Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Quantitative Marketing, Information Technology - OR equivalent combination of education and industry specific experience.
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience performing data extraction/manipulation, blending, analytics and visualizations with large transactional databases using SQL, SAS, R or Python and PowerBI, Tableau for reporting/visualization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with relational database concepts and structures, data integration techniques, ETL processes, QA/UAT and customer consolidation/hygiene practices.
  • Experience with project management with the ability to continually re-prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines and manage expectations.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, direct marketing and CRM principles, preferably in a LeadGen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and experience with data validation
  • Ability to accurately interpret and draw conclusions from data to make marketing recommendations and to evaluate program success
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong ability to translate technical requirements into non-technical terms and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to transition analytical information into a story to influence decisions and action.
  • Demonstrated history of making confident decisions, influencing and mentoring stakeholders across the organization.
